Bystanders sprang into action when they noticed a man engulfed in flames staggering aimlessly on a road. Several individuals emerged from their vehicles to assist the distressed man. One bystander promptly used a fire extinguisher to extinguish the flames.

Video footage captured the aftermath, revealing the man with most of his clothing melted away due to the intense heat. Remarkably, he remained standing and communicated with firefighters and police officers. The incident occurred in the Newtown area of Birmingham on October 15. Authorities including West Midlands Police, West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service, and West Midlands Ambulance Service have been approached for comments but have not yet responded.

The video displayed multiple parked vehicles on the road as the man was engulfed in flames. Concerned onlookers rushed to help, some even stopping their vehicles to assist while passing by. A bystander, positioned a short distance away, used a fire extinguisher to tackle the fire. Another individual in blue jeans and an orange jumper approached the man to inquire about his well-being and provide reassurance.

With parts of his body exposed due to his charred clothing, the man interacted with firefighters and police officers, who assessed his condition and tried to ascertain the cause of the incident. The man’s current condition remains unknown.
