“Manchester Synagogue Attacker Caught on Security Footage”

Published:

Newly released security footage captures the Manchester synagogue terrorist, Jihad Al-Shamie, departing from his residence before launching the fatal assault. The video shows the 35-year-old driving a black Kia Picanto through residential streets from his home in Prestwich, Manchester.

Al-Shamie proceeded to the Heaton Park Congregation Synagogue in Crumpsall, where he deliberately rammed his vehicle into a volunteer guard and fatally stabbed a man. Following the attack on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, two individuals, Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, lost their lives.

The CCTV owner, who requested anonymity, expressed shock upon reviewing the footage, stating that Al-Shamie appeared calm while driving towards the synagogue. Upon arrival, the attacker struck the volunteer guard with his car before proceeding to commit the stabbing.

Wearing a fake explosives vest, Al-Shamie was swiftly neutralized by armed police who responded to the scene after receiving alerts from the public. Two worshippers perished, and four others sustained injuries during the tragic incident.

Al-Shamie, a Syrian-born British citizen, was under police investigation for rape at the time of the attack. During a distress call made to emergency services, he professed allegiance to ISIS. A woman revealed her harrowing experience of a manipulative relationship with Al-Shamie, highlighting his extremist views and attempts to indoctrinate her.
