Police in Australia are currently investigating the tragic death of a one-year-old child and have reached out to the public for assistance. The incident took place at the child’s residence located approximately 110km northwest of Melbourne, where the child became unresponsive on Tuesday, November 4, at noon local time. The child was rushed to the hospital by his 26-year-old mother and her 18-year-old partner, but unfortunately, he passed away on Thursday, November 6.
Authorities from Victoria Police have stated that the circumstances leading to the child’s death are still under investigation. Detectives from the Homicide Squad and the Ballarat Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Investigation Team have already interviewed the child’s mother and her partner as part of the ongoing inquiry.
