“Trump Touts ‘Excellent’ MRI Results, Defends Health”

Published:

Donald Trump addressed concerns about his health by disclosing that he recently had an ‘excellent’ MRI scan during a visit to the hospital. The 79-year-old shared with reporters on Air Force One that he underwent the scan at Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre in Bethesda, Maryland, a favored location for presidential medical assessments.

As the potential oldest U.S. president in history if he completes his term, Trump has faced mounting speculation in recent times following observations of unusual bruises on his hand. In July, the White House acknowledged that Trump was evaluated for leg swelling and diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency.

During his Air Force One briefing, Trump affirmed his hospital visit and MRI scan results, emphasizing their perfection. He mentioned having doctors present during his travels and praised the quality of the medical reports he receives. His personal physician, Capt Sean Barbarella, indicated in a memo that Trump’s cardiac age appears significantly younger than his actual age based on various health assessments and advanced testing.

Following his medical checkup, Trump arrived in Japan on Air Force One and is scheduled to meet the new Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, Japan’s first female leader. He also had an audience with Japanese Emperor Naruhito at the Imperial Palace and commended him as “a great man.” Japan welcomed Trump with illuminated Tokyo landmarks showcasing the colors of the U.S. flag.
