Andrew Tate set to debut in Misfits Boxing against heavyweight champ Chase DeMoor

Published:

Andrew Tate is gearing up for his debut in Misfits Boxing as he prepares to face off against the heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor later this year. Despite being 38 years old, Tate brings a wealth of combat sports experience from his successful kickboxing career. However, his retirement was hastened by multiple eye injuries that affected his final fights.

The influencer has hinted at transitioning to boxing in recent months, with initial talks of potential matchups against Darren Till and Roy Jones Jr. However, it has been confirmed that Tate’s first opponent will be DeMoor, the 29-year-old reigning heavyweight champion who recently defended his title against Natan Marcon.

While Till may have missed the chance to fight Tate, the former UFC title challenger is likely to feature in the undercard, with his opponent yet to be announced. The event, titled Misfits Mania, is set to take place on December 20 at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai. Although exact fight times are pending confirmation, the main card is expected to kick off around 6pm UK time. Tate is anticipated to make his ring entrance at approximately 9pm UK time, with the event taking place in Dubai at 1am on Sunday.

Details regarding the broadcast of the fight have not been disclosed, but it is confirmed that the event will not be broadcasted on DAZN. This event will not be part of the X-Series and will have a different broadcaster. Fans should anticipate a pay-per-view setup to watch the fights.

The lineup for the event includes the headlining match between Andrew Tate and Chase DeMoor, as well as Darren Till’s match with an opponent yet to be announced. The full fight card will be revealed closer to the event date.

Andrew Tate expressed his determination, stating, “The largest disruptive force in sports entertainment history… somebody that failed at their obligations to make this organisation as big as it should’ve been has been ousted and I’m the new CEO. KSI tweeted something that annoyed me three years ago, so long story short: I took his company from him.”
