Fourth-ranked Felix Auger-Aliassime is set to lead the Canadian team in the upcoming Davis Cup qualifiers in Quebec City next month. Tennis Canada has announced that Auger-Aliassime will be accompanied by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario. Canada, currently ranked 12th in the tournament, is scheduled to face sixth-ranked France in a crucial best-of-five match at the Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals happening in November. Canada secured a 3-2 victory over Brazil in the previous round of qualifiers last February, while France earned their spot by defeating Slovakia with a score of 3-1.
