Cove UK, the parent company overseeing multiple holiday parks in the UK, has gone into administration. This development impacts a total of 11 sites, including eight managed by Argyll Holidays, which Cove UK acquired for £100 million in 2022.

Other affected holiday parks comprise Solway Holiday Park, Gwel an Mor Resort, and Springwood Holiday Park. The administrators are actively exploring potential sale opportunities for the business and have communicated this news to the park owners.

If you have a reservation at any of these resorts, administrators advise reaching out to the site manager. The resort list includes:

Seal Bay Resort in West Sussex remains unaffected and is operating normally. Alvarez & Marsal Europe has been appointed to manage the administration process for Cove Communities Holiday Park UK Holdco Limited (HPUK) and its subsidiaries, including Cove Communities Venture 2 Gwel an Mor OpCo Ltd, Cove Communities Venture 2 Solway OpCo Ltd, Cove Communities Venture 2 Springwood OpCo Ltd, and Cove Communities Venture 2 Argyle OpCo Ltd.

Alvarez & Marsal Europe emphasized the importance of ensuring a seamless transition and stability across the parks, aiming to minimize disruptions to daily operations. They assured owners, residents, and holidaymakers that they should not experience any negative impacts and are encouraged to contact site managers for any inquiries.

A representative from Cove UK confirmed the appointment of administrators for Cove Communities Holiday Park HoldCo Limited and its subsidiaries, affecting various holiday parks across the UK. Seal Bay, the largest resort within the Cove UK group, remains operational and continues to serve guests and owners without disruption.
