“Four Investors Win £100,000 Each in Premium Bonds Draw”

Published:

Four fortunate individuals who invested in Premium Bonds in December have each won £100,000 in prizes. The bonds they bought became eligible for the February 2026 draw and one of the winners purchased a £50 bond in December 2025.

Among the winners, one resides in Essex with a total of £19,150 in Premium Bonds, while another winner from Brighton and Hove holds £38,025 in total with a winning bond worth £13,000. The remaining two winners, each holding £50,000 in Premium Bonds, live in Cheshire and Hampshire with the Isle of Wight.

Every month, two lucky individuals receive £1 million each in Premium Bond prizes. In the recent February 2026 draw, winners from Liverpool and Central Bedfordshire claimed the big prizes.

Premium Bonds, a savings product offered by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), operate through monthly prize draws rather than offering a fixed interest rate. Prizes range from £25 to £1 million, with higher chances of winning smaller prizes compared to the larger amounts.

The odds of winning a prize with each bond are 22,000 to 1 per £1 bond. Winners are notified through email or text message by NS&I and can choose to receive the money in their bank account or reinvest in Premium Bonds. The current prize fund rate, akin to an interest rate, stands at 3.60% since August 2025.

Data recently disclosed revealed that Hampshire and the Isle of Wight had the second-highest number of big Premium Bond winners in 2025, with 42 individuals receiving £100,000 prizes. Essex, Outer London, Norwich, and Cumbria were also highlighted as lucky locations for Premium Bond prizes in the previous year.
