“Jake Paul Urged to Ditch Advisors Ahead of Anthony Joshua Fight”

Published:

Jake Paul has received harsh advice to dismiss his advisors just weeks before his upcoming bout with Anthony Joshua. The boxing newcomer has shown significant progress in the sport since turning pro in 2020. Notably, Paul has predominantly faced former UFC stars, securing victories against Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, and Tyron Woodley. However, his only defeat came at the hands of Tommy Fury in 2023.

Primarily a cruiserweight, Paul is preparing to step up a weight class for his match against Joshua. Despite his limited experience in the heavyweight division, he notably triumphed over Mike Tyson in November 2024. Concerns have been raised about Paul’s well-being going into this fight, with many criticizing the event scheduled for December 19 in Miami.

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul are set to collide in a heavyweight showdown in Miami on the said date. The fight will be available for live streaming on Netflix, with fans able to access it for free through Sky’s £15 Essential TV bundle, the lowest price ever offered by the network.

In response to the criticism, British heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma voiced his apprehensions about the match but focused on his own upcoming fight on January 24 in Manchester against Jermaine Franklin. Itauma emphasized his readiness to silence doubters and highlighted the significance of the upcoming bout for his career development.

The showdown between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul is scheduled for December 19, just days before Christmas. Anticipated to commence around 11 pm local time, which translates to 4 am in the UK, the fight time is subject to adjustment based on the undercard’s duration. The event will be live-streamed on Netflix for viewers’ convenience.
