Tragedy struck in Dublin as a teenager lost their life while two others sustained injuries in a brutal knife assault.
Reports indicate that a suspect armed with a knife attacked individuals at Grattan Wood in the Donaghmede area of Dublin, resulting in one fatality and leaving another in critical condition.
Witnesses mentioned the presence of a large group comprising both males and females during the incident.
According to the Irish Times, several individuals fled the scene when the stabbing occurred.
The injured victims were swiftly transported to a nearby medical facility for urgent care.
The culprit has been apprehended by Gardai, and an investigation into the murder has been initiated. Dublin Live reported that those involved in the incident were described as “teenage juveniles” holding foreign citizenship.

In an official statement, the Irish police (Gardai) stated: “An Garda Síochána is actively addressing a critical and ongoing situation at a residential site in Dublin 13 today, Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Given the early stage of the investigation, further details are not yet available.”
