Three individuals have been accused in connection with an alleged sexual assault on Brighton Beach. The incident, reported to Sussex Police, occurred on the lower esplanade in Brighton around 5 am on October 4. Following the report, a thorough investigation was initiated, and a 33-year-old woman, the alleged victim, received specialized support from law enforcement officers.
The suspects, namely Abdulla Ahmadi, a 25-year-old Iranian national from Crewe, along with Karin Al-Danasurt, aged 20, and Ibrahim Alshafe, aged 25, both Egyptian nationals from Horsham, were apprehended and charged with two counts of sexual assault.
The accused are currently in custody and are scheduled to appear at Brighton Magistrates Court later today. Detective Superintendent Andy Harbour acknowledged the victim’s courage and ongoing support provided by specialized officers. He emphasized the distress this incident may cause the community and assured continuous collaborative efforts to safeguard women and girls.
