“Tragic Death of NYPD Detective After Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery”

Published:

A mother of three, described as “loving,” has passed away following a Brazilian butt lift surgery. Alicia Stone, aged 40, was urgently taken to Fundación Valle del Lili Hospital in Colombia after being discovered unresponsive in her hotel room around 6:30 am local time on Thursday. Sadly, the New York Police Department detective was declared dead one hour later.

Sources indicated that the cause of Stone’s death was recorded as “unspecified cardiac arrest.” The procedure she underwent on October 16 included a liposuction and gluteal fat transfer, just a week before her unfortunate demise.

Following the surgery, Stone had been on pain medication and anticoagulants and was moved to a hotel for recovery. Her husband, Michael Stone, plans to request an autopsy and investigate the circumstances surrounding Alicia’s passing.

Michael expressed his shock and sorrow over the sudden loss of his wife, stating that the doctor who informed him of her death lacked details. He emphasized the need for clarity on what transpired leading to Alicia’s demise.

Described as being in good health prior to the operation, Alicia had informed relatives the day before her death that she was feeling fine. A fundraiser for her family highlighted Alicia as a devoted mother of three and a committed public servant who dedicated her career to serving and protecting others.

The fundraiser further praised Alicia’s kindness, bravery, and empathy that left a lasting impact on those she encountered, both in and out of uniform. Her unexpected death has left a significant void in the lives of her loved ones, friends, and colleagues.

According to the US-based Cleveland Clinic, numerous individuals in the US undergo Brazilian butt lift procedures annually. This surgery involves removing excess fat and injecting purified fat into incisions near the patient’s buttocks.

The procedure carries various risks, including complications such as:

– Infection
– Fat embolism
– Nerve damage
– Blood clots

These risks underscore the importance of thorough consideration and consultation before opting for such cosmetic surgeries.
