“Montreal Canadiens to Honor Carey Price at Bell Centre”

Published:

Carey Price, the long-standing goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens, is set to receive recognition at the Bell Centre for his exceptional NHL career. The Canadiens announced that Price will be honored on November 10 for his upcoming Hall of Fame induction, which is scheduled for the day before.

Price will join the prestigious ranks of the organization as the 62nd member to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Following this accolade, he will be commemorated in the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a special tribute reserved for former players who have achieved greatness in the world of hockey.

Having dedicated his entire 15-year career to Montreal, Price has left an indelible mark on the franchise. Over 712 games, he maintained an impressive 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage, establishing himself as the franchise leader in games played and victories as a goaltender.

The celebratory event will coincide with a game against the Minnesota Wild, where Price will be acknowledged for his outstanding contributions. Additionally, Price’s illustrious career includes seven all-star appearances and being selected fifth overall in the 2005 NHL Entry draft.

As the Canadiens gear up for the upcoming season, their pre-season will commence on September 19, with the regular season opener set for September 29 in Toronto against the Maple Leafs.
