According to information from a now-removed Reddit thread, Equitz left her Naperville, Illinois home without informing her family and traveled to Orlando, Florida. Law enforcement authorities suspect she took her own life at Walt Disney World, sustaining severe injuries from multiple blunt impacts. Speculation arose on social media about a monorail incident, although these rumors were swiftly dispelled by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Contrary to misinformation circulating online, it was clarified that Equitz did not come into contact with the monorail. The sheriff’s office categorized the incident as a suicide case and refrained from disclosing additional details at the time.
